Livestock Orders (Fish, Invertebrate, and Plants)

• Live Arrival Guaranteed: Tamed Waters guarantees all livestock arrives alive. Shipping costs/processing fees are not refundable.

• No Returns: Make your selections carefully. We do not accept returns of any kind.

• Stock Photos: Website photos are stock photos of our fish. There can be quite a bit of variation in patterns and colors of fish. With that being said, we try our best to keep the website updated with as accurate pictures of the current group of fish as possible.

• All Sales are Final.

D.O.A. Policy

• YOU are responsible for the wellbeing of the livestock we send you the second it arrives live and well.

• Ensure you have a cycled well established tank.

• Make sure your current tank mates are compatible with the livestock we are sending you (especially shrimp).

• Make sure the desired water parameters, temperature etc. for the species of aquatic animal you ordered is similar to your current tank set up.

Policy Adherence

If the recommended policy above is not strictly followed, we will not take responsibility for covering ANY DOAs.

Shipping Schedule

• We ship out all orders Monday-Wednesday using USPS Priority. UPS Express shipping will be available soon and likely our primary shipping carrier. Absolutely NO shipping Thursday-Sunday the protect the safety of our livestock.

• Hard goods are sent out standard shipping and usually arrive in 3-7 days.

• Orders may be delayed at our discretion due to extreme weather, health issues and supply issues.

After Your Receive Your Livestock from Tamed Waters

• As tempting as it may be, do not feed the livestock you received from us for 24 hours.

• We recommend you feed the existing fish in your tank well before you add your new livestock to the tank.

• Shipping can be stressful on livestock. Many fish will show up with minimal color, give them 1-3 days to color back up.
